Bravo Zulu Outdoors is a certified Coordinated Assistance Network partner and uses the system for file management and communication purposes.
Bravo Zulu Outdoors is a 501(c)3 charity that offers outdoor and community programs to our nation’s veterans, active duty military, and their families. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for improved mental health and wellness of those suffering due to their military service. We are truly “grass roots,” run entirely by volunteers and donations, and the whole point of what we do is to put people first. Everyone involved, from participants to volunteers and partners, are involved because of their desire to find focus, hope and purpose.
The term Bravo Zulu originates from the Allied Naval Signal Book ACP 175. It is an international naval signal code meaning “Well Done.” In the code, “B” or “Bravo” flags are used for administrative signals, with “Z” or “Zulu” being the last letter in that series. The two together mean “Well Done.”
Our goal is to make sure everything we do is done well. And to say “Well Done” to those who serve.
